Overview

Every country artist once had a “day job” that commonly used music business term for an occupation that pays the bills and fills the void between hopeful aspiration and bonafide success. However, never in the history of country music has someone taken a more celebrated path on the road to their country music dream than Julianne Hough (pronounced “Huff”). A triple threat as a singer, actress and dancer, Julianne is already known to millions of fans as the two-time professional dance champion on ABC-TV’s top-rated Dancing with the Stars. The show, which pairs professional dancers with music, sports, film and television celebrities, has become a cultural phenomenon and Julianne its top star. Recorded in Nashville and produced by Malloy, Julianne’s debut disc reveals her appreciation for country music’s roots as well as her fresh-faced contributions to the genre’s future. She has a warm, textured voice that is equally suited to feisty up-tempo tunes and contemplative ballads, both of which can be found on her debut. “I love story songs and message songs,” she says, “but I also love quirky, fun, up-tempo songs that make you want to just get up and move.”

This girl can sing. She's showed us she has a powerful voice and big range like Carrie Underwood, I would defiantly recommend her to anyone. Plus, she has great music that's fun to sing to.

Julianne, You are soooo talented. I think you are the BEST dancer on "Dancing With The Stars", I just can't take my eyes off of you. When you dance, you just glide across the floor in all your dance steps, you are AWESOME! But, you are also a very talented singer. You have a beautiful voice. I have your new CD and I will always buy your music. Best of luck with your singing career, but please, please don't ever leave "Dancing With The Stars." You make the show!!! I truly missed you when you were voted off this past season.

Julianne is good at dancing. Very good. She should stick to it. However, her songs aren't that great. Her voice is obviously fake, because of the fact that she has no country to her voice when she talks. Second, the songs are cheesy and its themes are overused. Nothing interesting around this corner. To me, this is nothing but &quot just another&quot pop country album. That's just me, of course.
