The book was pretty good, I guess....

I had to read 'Julie of the Wolves' for a project for school. It was OK, but the last part of the 2nd part of the book was just WRONG. You'll get what I mean when you read it..... Otherwise, the book was pretty good. I think that Jean Craighead George knows how to place her words carefully, so that you can see what's happening in your mind. 'Julie of the Wolves' was a good book, but not exactly the best book I ever read.

    It was well... okay

I had to read this book for school. It's not a book where you would just go, WOW! It sounds interesting but, I felt everything dragged on and on... Nothing really caught my attention.

    GREAT BOOK!!

I read this book for class. It was so amazing. This story really touched me. It was about Eskimo riches. Julie was s patient to learn the wolves language. I did a project-a newspaper, complete with comics, Dear Abby, and articles on Julie of the Wolves. I must say, some parts are gruesome, but that's not the main focus. Julie really did care for her adopted father and her wolf family. Thumbs up!

The GREATEST Book she has ever written!

Jean has written many good books and series but this is by far her best. I've read this book more times then I can count. I have also read the second and third book of the series just as many times as the first one (Julie, and Julie's Wolf Pack). If your looking for a good book your garenteed to fall in love with this one!

    michele's comments

It was pretty good. My favorite part in the book was when after Amaroqe died and kapu hurt his shoulder, and he got better and became leader of the pack.

The greatest wolf stories ever written.

These three stories (Julie of the Wolves, Julie, and Julie's Wolf Pack) must be the greatest stories on wolves ever written. The detail the author gives is incredible, and the plots of the stories are ones that reflect the true nature of wild animals. I, as an intense lover of wolves and the Arctic tundra, can not even express my love for these books. These books are what inspired me to write my own wolf stories. Although there are many other wolf stories out there, none of them can even compare to the uniqueness and beauty of this one.

    JULIE OF THE WOLVES

I have not read the whole book yet. So far I think the beginning of the book was confusing. It was hard to learn all of the characters' names. I heard that it gets exciting at the end of the story. I hope that is true. It is exciting already , but I would like it better if it got more exciting. I am enjoying the book so far. I hope you will read it and enjoy it too.

A review for the book Julie of the wolves

The book Julie of the Wolves starts out as a very confusing story, because there are so many characters in the story. Also there is not alot of diologe in the story, also becasie there are no chapter only 3 parts. But as you gt up to part 2 and 3 it get a lotbettr an more exciting. You also get to know Miyax or Julie and the rest oof the characters a lot better! Over all this book is ok, I'm more into book like 'A series of Unfoutnate Events' by Lemony Snicket.
