    Nice compilation, but it's still missing something...

    This compilation solidly covers the hits of the Rolling Stones from the 70's and 80's. Even though the tracks are not played chronologically, they still run in a smooth order. Opening with their ultiamate blockbuster hit, "Start Me Up", and closing with the suspensful, "Undercover of the Night". Now I must point out the negatives about this CD. Two of their hugest hits from this era, "She's So Cold" and "Shattered", are omitted. Why those were removed, I don't know. I don't even know why "She's So Cold", a song that gets a lot of air time on the radio, is not on any of the Stones' compilations. But still, fans would enjoy the songs on here well enough.

    Great sound quality for a CD instead of SACD.

    Does anyone really need an additional compilation of the Rolling Stones? The only reason I bought it was in search of above-average sound quality. I am satisfied. I am too cheap to buy the import which has been available for several years. The sound quality is much better than the on the over-priced "Forty Licks". However, the sound quality is not as good as that of the hybrid SACD's from the 1960's. It was good to hear the voice of Mick, the young man on some of these tracks.
