Chapter One

Junie is very excited. She is going to school today.

Junie brushes her mane until it shines. She has a pretty pink bow for her hair.

Oops. Junie sees something in her teeth. She brushes her teeth until they are clean.

Junie washes her unicorn horn. She rubs it with a soft towel. Junie is proud of her unicorn horn.

Junie sees other children on the sidewalk. They are excited too!

Junie is going too fast. Her horn bumps the children. Just a little bump.

"Be careful with that unicorn horn!" say the children as they walk away.

The school bell rings. It is time to line up. Junie stands right in front of the teacher. Just a little too close.

THis is a lovely tale about an engaging little unicorn for child

THis is a lovely tale about an engaging little unicorn for children who are just beginning to tune their ears to the sounds and words of storybook language.  I like that a speech pathologist designed it, so it fits all of my needs for presenting phonologic targets to kids who have some challenges with auditory processing and/or phonologic errors in their spoken language.  And -- the story rocks!  Little girls eat it up.  Thanks -- a great addition to my professional library.
