I've read it twice already and I'm thinking a third round is coming up soon. Trent and Drew's story is beautiful and tragic. I happened to cry as well. This is my first time reading a m/m book. I'm happy I had the opportunity to experience it with an author I truly like. I can't wait for the second issue of Gear Shark. I hope we don't have to wait much longer. I hope Trent and Drew get what they both deserve. And honestly? The story of Trent and Drew is so much more beautiful than Romeo and Rimmel's.

This series begins with some great characters from another beloved series, #nerd. Drew & Trent are best friends first. They share a love of fast cars, sports, and hot bodies. They also share a secret. Both of them are attracted to one another. Only one knows there is more to this friendship than meets the eye. If he tells the truth, he may lose everything. Will secrets unravel and ruin the friendships they share? Can accepting ones true self help in accepting others? What it takes to gain so much more when your scared - is facing the fear and claiming your choice. This book is full of surprises for the reader. Each chapter unfolding as if a wardrum playing in my head. You never know what happens at the last beat. I thoroughly loved each page and I am anxious to read the next book in the series!!

All the family dynamic and love we have come to expect from the hashtag series with explosive drama and intense emotion. A great start to the new spin off! Cambria did a great job with her first M/M by focusing on the characters and not the expectations of the genre!

For a first time m/m book by this AMAZING author... well, it's almost as if she's been writing it her whole life. It's that great.

My first Cambria Hebert book! And yes! I did start with this one because is M/M one of my favorite genres to read. And I'm so happy I did because it is absolutely beautiful! I loved loved loved it! Truly loved it! There are a million good things to say about this book but I will focus on the ones that really got me. The fact that there were no labels thrown around, it was like "love is love" there's no need to shout a label to the world in order for that love to be real. I loved how Trent and Drew both had insecurities and that it was all new to them and still when they realized what it was like to be with or without the other and how much they liked or disliked it, it wasn't even a question, they were together. The family's reaction was perfect, loving and beautiful. There's a rather nasty part that I want to forget but sadly those things happened before, now and are going to keep happening in the future, sometimes people are just to arrogant or afraid to accept what they do not understand. The ending! Good we won't have to wait long to know what happens next. PS. I'll definitely be reading the hashtag series.

Beautiful, this is how I describe this story about Tent and Drew. I was a bit nervous to read this story because it was my first M/M story but if it is written by Cambria it has to be amazing right?!? Well it was Amazing in every way. We got to read a story about love and how it grows from friendship to lovers. We got to get some speed in our blood from the racing and we even got a touch of rivalry. I look forward to reading more from Cambria with this series and even with the cliffhanger at the end it was such a beautiful amazing story.

I never write reviews. This is only my second one, but the first one was not a positive review; this one will most definitely be positive. I felt compelled to write a review because I strongly feel that Cambria Hebert deserves praise, not only for this book, but for all of her hashtag books. Reading these books transports me to another world. I love reading about the family they have created for themselves; it is so rare, but so special. I loved all the hashtag books and couples, but I particularly liked the story of Drew and Trent. The story of them falling in love was beautiful and real; I felt as if I was struggling with them when they were trying to come to terms with their confusing feelings for one another. This may move to the top of my favorite m/m books; until now, Logan and Tate (from Ella Frank’s Temptation series) have held my heart, but Drew and Trent’s story was amazing to read. I want the next GearShark issue now!!

I need to start this review off by saying that I don’t normally ready M/M romance. I have tried a few times, but have never been able to finish the book. #Junkie is the first book from this genre that I have been able to read from start to finish. I decided to give this book a try because I love Cambria Hebert’s writing. All of her stories have and elements that make then stick with you long after you have read them. The Hashtag series in particular made you feel like you were a part of the family that was created. By taking a chance on this book I not only got to know two characters that we were introduced to in the Hashtag Series, but I also discovered a beautifully heartbreaking story. Drew is a complete adrenaline junkie. The love that this man has for fast cars doesn’t seem like it could be rivaled by anything else, well maybe French Fries. That is until he finally accepts that he has fallen in love with his best friend. Trent has been analyzing his feelings towards Drew for a bit now. Though he knows what he feels, he’s afraid that by revealing it he could lose his best friend. Making the decision harder than it would normally be: tell him and lose him or tell him and find that he feels the same way. #Junkie is a beautiful story about two men finding that they have fallen in love with each other. What started off as a simple friendship had evolved into so much more. Though the road ahead may have plenty of bumps, these two seem like together they can take on the world. Definitely waiting patiently for the next issue of Gear Shark Magazine!
