This has been so helpful on how to successfully live life. I am a Christian, but even a non-Christian would be equally helped by this book. The story line makes the life principles interesting, not text like. It has interesting characters and is presented well.

Just Believe, the companion book to The Lamp, tells the story of Stanley Walters and his journey after a family tragedy. He meets a very special messenger who helps him not only move on with his life, but who introduces him to some others who teach him the way to an extraordinary future. A very special surprise is revealed that you won't want to miss. I'm so glad to have this book in my library!

I finished reading "Just Believe". Great book, even greater principles to apply to your life! If you've seen the movie "The Lamp" then this would be a treat. The first 5 chapters are a prequel to the movie and chapters 12-21 and the epilogue are a sort of sequel -- "the rest of the story". WELL WORTH THE READ!!!!

"Just Believe" is an adaptation of the movie "The Lamp" the story of Stanley Walters. The first half of the book begins two years after a tragic accident has left Stanley traumatized. Bitterness and grief have overtaken Stanley. He descends into a deep depression which leaves him unable to focus on his writing career and is destroying his marriage. A timely meeting with a man named Charles and a simple action message beginning with "just believing" lead to a series of events which restore purpose and meaning to Stanley's life. He returns to writing, his financial situation improves, and his marriage is healed. Through unexpected meetings with Charles and other "Messengers" Stanley is introduced to ten key principles that lead to success. In the last half of the book Stanley himself becomes the "Messenger" as he shares these time tested actionable steps with the reader on an inspirational journey to success. I appreciate the fact that these steps appear in the table of contents available on the Amazon website. Stovall and Trost bring into this collaboration a creative story and writing skills that touch the heart and inspire the reader with a message which can lead to life transformation. "Just Believe" is a heartwarming, incredible story of the power of believing faith and the fulfillment that comes with sharing this message with hurting people caught up in tragedy, financial crisis, or broken relationships. A beautiful story with strong message and time tested principles for new meaning and purpose in life. I received a complimentary copy of this book for review purposes with no obligation to post a positive review. As Reviewed for Midwest Book Review.

I was disappointed - thought this was a Christian book but it is more of a 12 steps to personal wealth story. I have a problem with this kind of philosophy. What if a person does all of the steps and doesn't find success?

I am reading this book for the second time, found a lot of information I missed the first time. If you don't believe......in anything or anyone, there is no hope You have to believe in yourself first and foremost and this book will show you the way. Read it twice, seriously.

This book is fine in the beginning when the story is being told. After that, it gets rather preachy. It was obvious that the author had an agenda, which is fine, but it could have been packaged better in a self-help book format rather than in a novel. When the main part of the story was over, I found myself bored and flipping through the pages quickly just to finish. In my opinion, the author should have ended well before she did.

I found this book to be very helpful in my Christian life. I am going to try to put these thoughts to work in my life. This was not a fast read book, but well worth using my time to read and learn from.

This is a cleverly disguised self help book for people dealing with depression, procrastination, guilt or anger. It tells the story of the life of Stanley Walters, a man who appeared to have it all going his way when "Life" just sort of happened. Overcoming obstacle after obstacle was not a problem until the accident! Find out how, with a little help from a "Messenger", he picked himself up and turned his spiraling out of control life around with just a few little ideas. The world needs more books like this.
