I grabbed this book because of the fact that the main character

I grabbed this book because of the fact that the main character is a woman a bit younger than me who also had breast cancer. She worked through it, lost a breast, and now is working toward getting her life back. The story is warm, charming, and the characters are very likeable. The main character, Crystal, has a chance to gain a normal life after her cancer, something I was never able to do. Of course, my mastectomy was a double, so I am certainly not the sort that would be drawing eyes - - except for the women who look at me and run away....it isn't contagious, you know..... I found the writer's knowledge was fairly right on - all your friends abandon you, and if you are in a relationship it disappears too. One thing that she didn't get right was any possibility for the main character to have kids - that is the first thing that goes when you have chemo for breast cancer it destroys your ovaries. If you want kids, you have to pull and bank eggs. Otherwise, I thought the book was lovely and full of hope.

    Love at last

I waited months for this book to be available on the Nook. It was well worth the wait. For a women to go through so much and in the end have it ALL! A must read.
