Meet the Author

Jess Michaels always flips through every romance she buys in search of "the good stuff," so it makes perfect sense that she writes erotic romance where she gets to turn up the heat and let it boil. She also runs the popular website The Passionate Pen and writes historical romance as Jenna Petersen.

    I Also Recommend:

    TOO Short for the $$$$$$

I enjoyed reading Jess Michaels' four novels so I decided to try her short stories. Sadly, this one was only 17 pages on my NOOK and not worth the money. If Ms. Michaels reads this I think this story would make a great novel and encourage you to expand it. Our heroine has an aristocratic jerk of a husband so she hooks up with his valet. I wanted to learn more about the characters especially our valet hero. I have never read a romance where the hero is a common guy not in the upper class and was intrigued. I will warn Historical Romance readers, Ms. Michaels in not afraid of the 'HOT' scenes. She is very graphic and daring is these areas of the story.

    One liner...

Paid too much for too little. Strickly a one "night stand" in the bedroom. Expected more from this author.
