    Heartwarming Story

This is a wonderful book, no matter what breed of dog you own. I love to read but this was one book I could not put down. The chapter on the dash is a great way to look at any life (human or pet). I heard Timothy on the radio one night from Boston, MA. The interview hooked me and the book sealed the deal! This author delivers.

A Must Read for Any Pet Lover!

This is a wonderful well written book. No matter what breed of dog you have and love, you should own a copy! What an inspiration this book is.
I heard Timothy and his wife, Cathy, on the radio and purchased the book.
I found the chapter on the "Dash" to be powerful and meaningful. I can't wait for his next book.

Just This Side of Heaven - Penny's Journey

In the intersests of full disclosure, I must admit I like dogs and I like dog stories. That said, I I did enjoy this book very much. It's a lovely story about a dog, her dog family, and her human family. Wryly humorous atimes, it's also sad and tender.

It's my belief that we have dogs to show us the right way to grow older and age. Dogs don't tell us, in minute detail, about their aches and pains. Dogs don't complain about what they can't do anymore. Dogs do enjoy each and every day. Dogs do appreciate the good things: a nice dinner, a fresh bowl of water, a comfortable bed, and attention and affection from the humans in their life.

Penny did that, and wonderfully so. If dogs had mantras, then Penny's was "Life is good".

    A Memorable Story

I would strongly recommend this book to any dog lover, no matter what breed you own. It was an inspiration to read the chapter on the Dash and I will never forget the lesson within. In fac, anyone who has lost a loved one, human or pet, will enjoy this book.
