Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Mary Quattlebaum
A book that will make both aunts and nieces smile. Aunt Martha and her favorite niece take a long leisurely road trip together, chatting, buying peaches, and walking in the rain. There's nothing to spoil the drive- "...no boys and no men. Just us women."

Love this book growing up as a child always reminded me of my Aunt, Now that I have a niece of my own ordering it for her.

My mom would read this book to me when I was little, I am nearly 20 now and we still talk about 'turning the day around and having our breakfast at night!' It was special for us, and I hope others will find it special too!

I am all grown up, and most of my life I have known the cameraderie of women supporting each other and their little girls. I have observed men to compete with each other whereas most women are there for each other--laughing, joking, having fun, crying, etc. Most women are not like the ones portrayed in soap operas. And this is a delightful picture book of an Auntie and niece just enjoying each other's company. I recommend it to anyone who has a little girl.
