    Erma Bombeck is the bomb

    I have always loved Erma. Her wit about families and teens is great. I plan on reading each and every book

    Wow, There are Other Families Like Mine

    I loved this book. I laughed until my sides hurt. I didn't realize that my family, and my teenage children were actually 'normal', and that they are doing what other teenage kids do. Not only did this book help me laugh, and loosen up, but it helped me realize that my kids are just being kids. That they are in a growth stage, and that I don't need to be so worried about them. Erma has allowed me to see that our family is not a freak of nature, but pretty much normal. Well, as normal as her family--is that normal? Well, it's close enough for me, and things around here are going to be less controlled and more relaxed. We might even be able to laugh more. A lot more.
