Overview

Was it suicide…or murder?

Clay Ramsey rescues a beautiful young woman from an attacker—only to have her mysteriously die in his arms an hour later.

Who is she? What killed her? Why? The police want to know, too. But after a brief investigation, with few clues, they are saying suicide.

Clay believes she was murdered, and he thinks he knows who did it. But what was the motive? How can he prove it? And how can he convince the police lieutenant who has threatened to throw him in jail?

After a cryptic phone call, he finds himself in league with the victim’s older sister—a woman out of his distant past. Together, they set out to learn what really happened to Amy Phillips. But someone doesn’t want them poking around. And they’re willing to do whatever it takes to keep them from discovering the truth

Will they find justice for Amy? Will they find love again after twenty years? Or will one of them be the next victim?

Meet the Author

Hi, I’m Andy Van Loenen and I write novels. In my life I’ve been an inventor of electronic devices, a repairer of medical equipment, a programmer of telephone call centers (yes, one of those people whose efforts landed you in voicemail jail—sorry), and a member of the United States Air Force. Most importantly, I’m a Christian and have been for more than thirty years. I say, “Most importantly,” because this one thing has defined my life and, I hope, shows up in everything I do—especially my writing. Does that mean everything I write? Well, you’re not likely to see it in an article on some fine point of telephony, but you can expect my worldview will somehow figure in every novel or short story that finds its way out of my computer. I consider this a good thing, if you don’t, you’ve been warned.

Highly Recommend - you must check it out

What happens when a woman being shoved around in a parking lot calls out to an average guy for help? What does he do when she dies a few hours later and it is clearly murder? What does he do when she turns out to be the sister of his first real love? Follow Clay Ramsey as he goes down this road in "Justice for Amy". Will he get there in time to save the woman who has re-calimed his heart or make the ultimate sacrifice to save her?

"Justice for Amy" is a well written book written from the point of view of the average guy. The situations are real and reasonable and clearly describe a man's point of view. The scene settings and locations entice the reader to go see if they can find these places. It is a great mystery with a dash of romance that you could give to your husband to read.

    A Great Story

Clay Ramsey got involved when he saw a man mistreating a woman in the parking lot. Since she didn't have a car, he offered to take her home, but when she became violently ill he rushed her to the hospital. To his dismay, she died. At first the police suspected Clay of killing her, but then they decided it had been suicide.

Clay can't forget the woman, whose name was Amy Phillips, or the way she begged him to help her. There was a sweet innocence about her that reminded him of his wife, who had died five years ago. Clay is sure the woman was murdered, and he teams with up with Amy's sister, Jo, to find the truth about what really happened to Amy Phillips.

Justice for Amy is a well written, fast paced story, that will hold the reader from page one. This is one book you won't want to miss.
