New 52 might be hit and miss for some people, but I've generally enjoyed the stories. There are two series that stand out-- Justice League Dark and Earth 2. Justice League Dark takes the mystical side of the DC Universe and gives it a good ride. Characters are interesting, flawed but likeable, and the action is decent. What makes this series work (along with Earth 2) is that we don't get the same boring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, or Green Lantern. we get lesser known characters-- the B listers-- and that allows stories and backgrounds to be taken in interesting directions.

Surprisingly good. Normally when I see a comic labeled "Justice League [insert descriptor here]" I cringe. However, I decided to pick this one up as I enjoy the character John Constantine. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this story was written!I would recommend the book to anyone who enjoys a good paranormal/mystical story, or anyone who likes to see "superheros" act more human.
