A love that defies time itself. This series is just AMAZING! The humor in this story always makes me laugh and never fails to lighten my mood. The romance is sweet and perfectly paced. I also really liked the mythology and time travel aspects of this story. Very well thought out! We are given a few clues here and there, but only enough to wet my appetite before the final reveal. Nanami is a strong heroine which is really nice to see in a shoujo manga. I like that throughout the series Nanami gets to save the day and Tomoe even if things don't go as smoothly as they should. She is definitely no damsel in distress, but she isn't perfect either. She makes plenty of mistakes (some hilarious!), but what I admire about her is that she never gives up. Nanami has plenty of chances to just leave the shrine and do her own thing leaving the inhabitants to take care of their own problems, but she doesn't. She sticks by her friends and does whats right even when its not the easiest choice. Tomoe is a bit gruff and does his best to put Nanami off in the begining, but underneath that he really does care about Nanami and the shrine. He has been through a lot in the past and had his share of heartache, but with Nanami's help he is begining to open up a lot more, slowly, but surly. The romance is so sweet and not rushed at all. The characters actually start off hating each other, but given time they slowly become friends and learn to care for one another. Which really shows through in how much they try to help one another. This is an amazing story with plenty of humor and a dose or romance. I highly recommend this to fans of Shoujo Manga!

A strong-willed girl changing the world of a demon with a superiority complex. Although the characters are beautifully drawn, Nanami's strong, stubborn, hopeful personality is truly gorgeous. The story along with her approach to conflict is absolutely inspirational and encourages one to never give up and keep smiling! This manga may be a classic for generations of fantasy romance fans to come.

Who didn't think of Inuyasha when they saw the cover. Also I thought he had longer hair and not short hair. Anyway, this was something. Never heard it before though but was been hearing its good. After reading it, it was pretty good. The art and the expressions were good, hilarious at times but good. And near the end was a little adorable what with the way its drawn. So, pretty good start.

This REALLY needs more attention! Trust me I HATE SHOJO BUT THIS WAS REALLY GOOD! FOR ONCE A FEMALE WITH BRAINS! Nanami was someone I could really connect with and she seemed REAL. the art isn't the best when compared to CLAMP or Tite Kubo but the style is definitely its own and is very interesting and fun to look at. The story may seem a little cliche but there aren't any original stories anymore so don't look at that one downside for the rest completely makes up for that. I have read up to volume 6 ready for number 7 and it has so much to offer! If you find Japanese culture interesting-does Inuyasha and demons interest you?-such as clothing, demons, spirits and shrines than this is for you. If you want a real down to earth girl who's number one priority in life isn't to get a boyfriend this is for you. If you want a story an actual story this is for you. If you want a fun adventure about a girl who becomes a land god; follow her journey as she falls in love with her bossy familiar Tomoe, how she learns the meaning of life and forges friendships, develops into a strong person and explores the world of demons and oni and spirits this is for you! No matter your interest this series is not to disappoint! Its worth your money so please support the mangaka and buy it:)
