Pocket-size visual guide for remembering the Japanese syllabaries—perfect for beginners!
Posted February 25, 2000
Designed in an easy and friendly manner the book is very helpful for those who just begin to study Japanese. The reader builds associations between the Japanese sounds represented by the kana signs and corresponding English sounds through simple and funny pictures. Using this book, it took me only two days to memorize all the kana signs. The book is very encouraging for those who want to learn Japanese, but think that the Japanese kana are too difficult, almost impossible to remember. Was this review helpful?
