Meet the Author

Helmut Friedel is the director of the Lenbachhaus in Munich. He has published numerous books on art, including Gerhard Richter: Red, Yellow, Blue, Franz Marc: The Retrospective and The Blue Rider in the Lenbachhaus (all by Prestel). Annegret Hoberg is a curator at the Lenbachhaus in Munich, which holds one of the most extensive collections of Wassily Kandinsky in the world.
