    Very Interesting!

This book starts out with a pretty extensive overview into the history of these hand folded flowers which is very neat. It then goes on to explain exactly how to make them and different uses for them. It shows A TON of different flowers to make and how to combine them and a bunch of different projects you can use them with. A lot of which I might not use but will use the flower they show you how to make in a different way, so all in all I'm very pleased! They are super easy to make once you read the diagram, which couldn't be easier to read and duplicate. It tells you how to know the size the flower will be and how best to pick fabrics for the flowers! It is a great book to have in your collection.

    Japanese folding technique straghtened out.

I had tried fabric folding techniques on project is magazines a couple of times, and found the instructions unclear and/or incomplete and was not pleased with the results. I have completed 2 projects based on the techniques in the book with ease and am very satisfied with the projects. It takes careful reading of the instructions, but they are very clear and easy to follow. As a bonus, the book is beautifully illustrated and just plain fun to read and browse through.
