A Fast Track Way to a 5 on the A.P. US history test

If you're like me, then you might absolutely deplore history and detest any moment spent memorizing seemingly useless facts. History has never been my favorite subject, hence the desire to take the A.P. class so I don't have to take it in college. When the days gre closer to the date of the test, I was in a desperate search for my favorite study guides by Princeton. But to my dismay, I could only find Kaplan versions. However, i was pleasantly surpriesed.

This book was actually useful. There was none of the beating around the bush facades or intimidating the crap out of stressed students. History dislikes me almost as much as I dislike it, so it was quite refreshing to have a study guide "talk" to me like I was a moron and like I knew absolutely nothing about history of any kind (which i am). The practice tests were clear, comprehensible, and useful in anticipating what would be on the actual A.P. test. With this guide, I feel that I honestly passed the test. However I also recomend that future A.P. takers study there notes and textbooks because this guide is no replacement for those detailed sources. It is merely an aid to inhance and improve future test takers' chances of passing one of the hardest A.P. tests.

    I Also Recommend:

Good book, but not the best option

Kaplan's guide is fine, the information in it is accurate and presented in a simple, logical way. There is no real fault with the information.
The problem is partly random typos, with letters switched and the punctuation in the middle of words, things that spellcheck should have found.
I would reccomend that you buy the Princeton Review Guide over this book if you have the choice.
