This book is fantastic!!! It is not only great for studying for the GMAT, but also for preparation for the math questions on the SAT and ACT. This book provides the math basics and foundations, beginning with different types of numbers (e.g. integers, whole and irrational). Then moves on to math order of operations, simplifying, fractions (e.g. adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing), common denominators, factors, proportions, algebra and geometry. It defines and describes everything in a very clear and concise way, giving examples, providing practice problems and chapter tests, and includes the answers at the end of each chapter. The math lessons gradually build upon themselves. Where was this book when I was in grade school??? A must have for kids. Great for parents as well, for those of us who have been out of school for a long time and want to help our kids when they bring homework home. I can't say enough about this book, brilliantly laid out and written.
