    I Also Recommend:

Unless you're wanting another "summary" of HR information - don't bother.

Have taken the SPHR and passed. This book was not much help in attaining the passing mark. The summary style of information makes quicker reading/reviewing. However, the SPHR sample test are not much value, frustrating more than helpful.

    Would not recommend

This book is not very helpful in preparing for the PHR exam. I studied the material in this book extensively and almost none of it was on the PHR exam.

    Summarized to a fault

This book was minimally helpful in preparation. Too little discussion of material and too much emphasis on the personal experience of the author. This book leaves you HAVING to buy another.
