    This Book IS Pure Genious!

from the very beginning of my karate training i was always told by my sensei's that sensei nishiyama was the best. clearly this book shows this. i have taken a few seminars by sensei..and to finnally read this outstanding piece of literature written by a living legend is an honor. this by far is the best karate book i have ever read.

    Premier Japanese karate book

The 1st copy of this book I found was a 1967 publication (don't remember if it was an original issue or not). I had a semi in depth exposure at this point. I HAD to have this book. I still feel it is an essential book for anyone intent on moving into the higher ranks.

    Nishiyama, traditional karate practitioner..

He is a good and brilliant by founding Traditional Karate. Why? Now generally, karate is just a sport game. I disagree with it. Karate is a self-defense not for playing. So i'll support his idea. I hope the old style of karate will back again... Karate is not dancing, right!?
