I read this book in less than a week, while working a full time job and attending college. I have to admit, when I first read the book I didn't think it was my kind of book. But once I got through the middle of the first chapter I could NOT put it down! Very good read for people of all ages 'except for the very discriptive girl on guy action'. Other than that I so much enjoyed reading this book!

I thought this book was awesome. I was a little wary at first but I totally got sucked in and had to finish it right away. This is a great book and I would recommend it to anyone!

Amazing... I couldn't put the book down. It's funny and sexy, and I was pulled in the 1st chapter. Keeps you wondering for the most part because, of course, nothing turns out the way you'd expect it. You gotta read this.

I love her elemental assassin series better than this book. Maybe its cause it had growth in the characters. This series' characters weren't as loving as Gin amd her family was. Just wasnt connecting with Carmen and Striker like i wanted to. I like the story idea but no exciting developement and action seemed a little bland. No scenes that really just hit me with strong emotions or make me want to stop and just reread the pages again. I really really wanted to love this series...maybe Ill get the next book and hopefully its better for me. In the meantime, Im excited to read more of Gin!

Dare to be different! When I discovered he Bigtime series, it was as if someone blended my childhood love of comics with my guilty pleasure romance books. They all make for fun reads and the characters are amusing at times in their handling of superpowers and daily lives. This is the first book in the series and you will LOVE the characters.

Karma Girl is a fun -- if repetitive and overly-long -- superhero romance. While I enjoyed the character interactions, I had difficulty buying into the romance between Carmen Cole and Striker/Sam Sloane. Estep's use of stock phrases throughout the story, as well as repeatedly referring to how "hot" and "perfect" Sam is, *and* repeatedly referring to characters by both their names ("Sam aka Striker Sloane") grew increasingly annoying as the story progressed. And while the story never bogged down, it took a loooong time to get anywhere. Overall, not a bad story, but not an especially good one either. -- lyradora
