Memory from MY past, to pass on...

As a little girl, I loved paperdolls (I'm 63 now!...but,still a kid at heart - I 'still play well with children' :-) ). When I saw these paperdoll books, my great nieces (4 & 6) immediately came to mind. They are both bright, creative little girls already. This was a good way to sit down with them, hear their questions about the pictures, clothes etc.
They were excited to hear that I loved working with paperdolls...which led to sewing for my dolls, etc. It was a wonderful way to impart information about what was going on when I was a child; what toys; what we did for fun... NO TV??!!... '...no, played board games and/or played outside!" Fun and - an easy important conversation starter between generations.
