This book was very boring. No climax whatsoever. The ending was a huge disappointment. It was well recommended by one of my favorite authors, but I was extremely disappointed by it.

This is a 'keeper' for me, one that I'll only be lending out to the friends who are faithful to return books! The writing is beautiful and so authentically southern, and the story so gripping that I could hardly stand to put it down. Ms. Hickman is a remarkable talent--I can't wait for her next book!
