I saw this cookbook at a restaurant that had cookbooks sitting around.  Since it took us awhile to get our food, my husband, myself and teenage daughter looked through it and picked out recipes that sounded good.  I decided to order it online and was surprised to see that it's a new book.  All I can say is that I made two recipes for dinner tonight and they were both excellent.  I made the Japanese -Style "Meat and Potatoes," substituting ground turkey for meat - delicious.  Then I made the massaged Kale salad with pepitas and pomegranate seeds- another home run.  And before this one, I never made another kale salad that was as good as the ones you can get at restaurants.  Looking forward to making other "keeper," although, at 2 successful recipes, I feel like I"m already having a more successful rate than I've had with other cookbooks (why I prefer getting recipes from magazines, websites and blogs

My daughter in law had purchased this cookbook as she has three young children, loves to cook, but doesn't have a lot of time. Wen I looked through it, I realized it would be perfect for my niece who has a three year old and a baby. So I bought it for her. I was tempted to keep it for myself as it has some great recipes.

I will make so many of the recipes in this book. It really will help solve my problems with making good dinners on week nights. I got this book five days ago and have made two excellent recipes so far. I plan to make another three or four in the next week alone. Spot on collection of recipes for busy people.
