Do you practice Keeping Secrets and Telling Lies

Victoria, Ted and Parker reunite again. This time their children force them to come in contact with each other. First Jack and Jill, then school. Can they get away from each other?

When you truly love someone, no matter the color of their skin, should you keep a secret for any reason? The twists and turns in this novel, keep you on the edge of your seat, your bed, patio or anyplace you chose to read.

Mystery, love, secrets and family make you think twice about what you'd do if you were trying to love two.

How far would one go to protect their children from their heritage?

Who would think that after years the fire that once burned between Victoria and Parker, may remain ignited?

The question here is, can one woman love two men at one time?

    Indeed Worth Reading

I couldn't wait for Trice to complete this book, she had told us (Left-to-Right Bookclub) that this book was in the making and it was well worth the wait. The characters were all very genuine and the lives of each character was intriguing. We were honored to have Trice for the second time for our book discussion to share some insight into the characters. It is definitely one of her greats. I recommend all Ms. Hickman's books they are all award winning and her style of writing is easy to understand, detailed and fun!!!! I love this author!!!!!

    Page Turner

Keeping Secrets Telling Lies" the sequel to "Unexpected Interruptions" is a page turner. Victoria and Ted are married with a daughter and life is good. Then Victoria runs into her ex- Parker and the secrets and lies begin.
Ted's mothers health is ailing and he becomes a part of a secret that was hidden for years and his handling of it leads to more secrets , more lies.

Once again the issues of color and race finds its way into the wonderful gray world that Victoria & Ted try to live.

I enjoyed reading how everything played out and even though I had an idea about Ted's secret it caused me not to put the book down in anticipation to see how their lives begun to unravel and then pray and wonder if their love was strong enough to carry them through.

    Well done Trice Hickman!!!!!!

The Truth Shall Set You Free

Six years have passed. Victoria and Ted Thornton are living their happily ever after. Victoria owns one of Atlanta 's most sought after event planning and catering companies, Divine Occasions. Ted's telecom company, ViaTech, is thriving. They've added to the mix Alexandria , their precious and precocious five-year-old daughter. Life is good until.a blast from the past is now very much in the present.

At one time Victoria was in love with Parker Brightwood. Now with the sudden reappearance of him in her life, feelings that she thought she long ago buried seem to be resurfacing. Further complicating things, a tragedy in Ted's life is wedging a gap between the couple. With both keeping secrets and telling lies, is their marriage strong enough to survive?

Trice Hickman returns with her love triangle of Parker-Victoria-Ted in her sophomore release, "Keeping Secrets & Telling Lies." Some of us may never know the intricacies or the innermost feelings of someone in an interracial relationship. Fortunately, for those, Hickman is available as she captures readers with a front row seat. She again delivers with an entertaining as well as thought provoking story. I look forward to more from Hickman.
