Well RM, you did it again. Keeping the Secret was certainly a page turner. I loved the thought process in the book. Seeing how Sebastin was viewed by so many becuase of his sexual orientation, really heated my spirit. How he was treated by his caretaker, was appalling, his classmates, his very own father, heart my heart. Ibeing a hetrosextual married mother of two sons, having never experiences such dicrimation and hatred, still felt for the boy. I want to hear more about Sebastin' life, now that he is moving on with a loving Aunt and family. I want to see how his life will transpire, he needs to feel love and be loved. Ebban, trying to be his all and all to his parents, his basketball team and to the love of his life Lauren, how will the story spill out, now that the parents have recieved this letter that Sebastin wrote? Will he be able to explain? How will this effect his future? Anyway, don't want to give out to much of the secret, want folks to read it and see how RM exposes his sensitive side. RM, please tell me that you will continue the story at least one more continuing tale.

The book, Keeping the Secret by RM Johnson, focuses on teen homosexuality, gay pride and homophobia. The story is well developed, supportive, interesting, entertaining and flows well! The end will leave you on a cliff-hanger and eager for book two. The author has done a fabulous job with this excellent read. I highly recommended this book. It is five stars all the way!!! Hooray (again) for author one of my favorite author’s RM Johnson!!!!

Not a great book but not a horrible one either. My biggest issue was the simplicity and predictability of the story. The author has certainly written better and to a higher targeted audience. Not sure if this was targeted to teens or young adults but its definitely a story for that demographic.
