John F. Kennedy's advisors were enormously influential in the shaping of American foreign policy at a crucial time. After struggling in his first year as president, Kennedy employed the guidance of a core group including McGeorge Bundy, Robert Kennedy, Robert McNamara, Maxwell Taylor and Theodore Sorensen.     A must read for understanding Contemporary American History

    Goduti not only answers all the questions you may have already asked about this period , but he dissects this era and the members involved. As a result, he ends up creating a detailed picture of connect the dots that not only reveals how vital this period of American History truly was, but also how much it has affected and still affects American history and identity toady.
