Overview

Kevin Keller is sure making a splash at Riverdale High! Recently elected class president, Kevin has gone from new kid in town to one of the most well-known and popular students in school. Struggling to stay on top of his new duties while trying to find time for a social life, Kevin is subject to all the pratfalls and mayhem that have been a staple of high school life in Riverdale for decades. From his first date to his first prom to his first summer job, it's a year of new beginnings for Kevin. In typical Archie fashion, though, nothing goes off without a hitch—particularly when he decides to ask his romantically-challenged friends Archie, Betty, Veronica, Reggie and Jughead for advice! He even has to face the force of nature that is Cheryl Blossom, who can test the mettle of the toughest teens. But if anyone can make it through the chaos of high school unscathed, it's Kevin Keller!

The most popular addition to the Riverdale crowd in years, Kevin Keller is Archie's first gay character. Fan-favorite writer/artist Dan Parent (Betty and Veronica: Storybook) helms this heartfelt and humorous collection of the first four issues of the ongoing Kevin Keller comic book series (Kevin's past appearances in Veronica and the Kevin Keller miniseries appear in the previously released Kevin Keller hardcover book).

As y'all know, Kevin Keller is gay. But Kevin and Veronica? Whats happened here? And why is Archie showing a sudden interest in Jughead? "Dr. Keller, what's this machine?" Archie asked. Kevin and Archie were visiting Kevin's uncle, Dr. Kevin Keller the third. Kevin Keller, Archie's friend, was Kevin Keller the fourth. Dr. Keller smiled. "Ah, my prize invention. This machine has the ability to switch minds! Now, I have to go pick up some papers. Don't touch anything!" With that, he raced off. But fifteen minutes later, Archie was leaning over to look at the Bat-O-Matic, and pressed a button. "Archie no! That was the button to the Mind-Switcharoo!" A bright beam of light shot out of the machine, and hit Kevin and Archie. When they both sat up, Kevin groaned. "Archie, I have the sudden desire to find Veronica, and declare my love for her!" Kevin declared. Archie nodded. "We just switched minds. You'll fall in love with every attractive girl, and especillay Veronica." Archie blinked once or twice. Then he sighed. "Isn't Jughead awesome? I have to talk to him, and buy him as many burgers as possible!" Kevin gulped. If he liked Veronica, Archie was...Gay? What's going on in Riverdale!? Con't at the first book that appears when you type in "Archie double digest"

I actually bought this thinking that it was the hardcover comic where Kevin is introduced to Riverdale. This is a fun silly comic featuring Kevin Keller and that's pretty much it. Nothing really amazing, but it's not supposed to be, it's a nice little comic anyone can enjoy.
