Editorial Reviews

Chicago Sun Times
Kling has an enviable gift for storytelling, a sense of humor rooted equally in pain and whimsy...and an uncanny ability to transform intensely personal memories, especially those of family life, into something instantly recognizable and, at the same time, strangely exalted.

    I Also Recommend:

"Saying grace" that we have Kevin Kling to share his love of life.

I have had the distinct privilege to hear Kevin tell his stories and to direct his plays. When he stated he had published his first book THE DOG SAYS HOW, I immediately purchased it. HOLIDAY INN is even better. His voice is original, touching, honest, thoughtful and delightfully human. I remember my mother telling me that while tears felt good, the only way to move through life is with a sense of humor. What is better is that I found myself and my family in his stories. Kevin is a laugh-outloud guide in finding humor in what it means to be human.
