    Too simplistic

    Not at all a book for anyone with any knowledge of cake decorating who is looking for new ideas for decorating kids' cakes. It may be good for a kid - like a 12 year old - to decorate cakes. There are much better pickings out there. I returned the book to B&N even though it was only $2 and change to purchase - it was really not even worth that for me.

    If I could give 0 stars, I would.

    This book doesn't even deserve the 1 star. I paid $2 for it, and that was $2 too much. The "creative ideas" are a joke. For example, their "candy shop cake" is putting gum drops all over an iced cake. Seriously? I needed a book to tell me that? Like the other reviewer said, you'll get way more out of a google search.

    Not even worth the $2

    Very juvenile. The cakes are not creative at all. Save your money and just google - you'll find all the ideas online.
