Many books describe paper dolls, cutouts, coloring and paper mache'. But this book describes making real toys, 'magic' or scientific devices a kaleidoscope, Boomerang, Compass, barometer, wooden models, a sextant, fifteen real devices along with relevant scientific explanations of the principles involved. There is a considerable basis given to understand how each device works. What appears to be only toymaking also includes a deeper explanation of how each device works and important principles involved.
