Editorial Reviews

The Advocate
A deliciously bad read from Hollywood's late cross-dressing director of dreck.

The fascinating world of Planet Ed Wood is even better here than in his memorable movies. I love the way the straight guys, who ogle over the Glenda character, can recall every article of clothing they'd ever seen her in. It's like in Planet Ed Wood EVERYONE has a clothes fetish, not just the transvestites. This'll never make an Oprah list, but, truth be told, it's a much better read than any of her picks. This is despite the fact that obviously no one ever got around to editing the book.
