No one bats an eyelid when a bag lady washes up on the shores of Sydney, minus five fingers and decked out in designer couture; nor is anyone too perturbed when socialite Beatrice Musgrave plunges to her death soon after. No one, that is, except ghostwriter and Merlot-lover Roxy Parker. She’s been writing Beattie’s 'autobiography' and has just stumbled on a secret that’s worth killing for.

Good book with a great plot. Some spelling mistakes but as a free book when I got it, totally worth it.

A fabulous read from start to finish. Alot of great twists and turns without being too confusing and none of the over the top Aussie talk. I highly recommend. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Fun read, good plot. Figured it out fairly quickly, but that didn't ruin it for me. Great characters.

I really enjoys this story and I can't believe this was a free nook book too! This story kept me guessing until the very end with enough twists and turns to keep me reading all night to finish this story. I will definitely look for more from this author. Roxy Parker Rocks!

A journalist who is better at solving a crime without the help of. professionals is a bit far fetched, but inspite of that it's a readable story.

Thought the main character, Roxy, was a hoot. This was a fun change of pace - I usually like more serious mysteries.

Great story ... just feel Max was thrown to the curb and our heroine was a little self absorbed
