John Marsden's trilogy about a band of teen-age terrorists resisting the annexation of Australia by a foreign army is compulsively readable.—NY Times Book Review
Want a NOOK? Explore Now
In the third installment of the Tomorrow saga, the anything-to-survive existence of Ellie and her friends has sharpened their senses and emboldened their plans. They aren't merely on the defensive anymore; they're also striking back. Their strategy? Attack the enemy not just on land, but also on water. If they have any hope of sabotaging the formidable container ship at Cobbler's Bay, then stealth is a must, but so, too, is one very big explosion.
And if they fail, they may face a whole new kind of terror -- imprisonment.
Ellie and her friends, a small band of teenagers trying to survive in the Australian countryside, continue to resist the enemies who have invaded their country.

It was awesome. I read the whole book in a day. It was one of those books that grabs you and pulls you into the story like you are there with Ellie and her friends. I laughed and cried with Ellie, not many books can make me do that. The author is a genius!! The other books fromt he series are the same way. AWESOME!!!!!!

I saw the movie and noticed that is was based on a book, so I came to B&N to look for the nook books and was excited to see that it was a series of 7.
This is supposed to be a youth/teen book, but they did not write them this way when I was young. I recommend that parents glance through these books to be sure they think that their child can handle the "war time" theme.
But anyway, i loved the series and really was sad when it was over!! In it's own way, this is educational on survival that unfortunately may be needed one day.

Lots of typo's. I love the series, but there are a lot of mis-spellings and mistakes. Where are the editors?! If I were John Marsden, I'd be pretty upset.

Had a great time with this book. Even though it may have been a little far fetched as to the luck of the main characters, it was at the same time, possible. John Marsden did have you wondering the fate of the characters and also how they would evolve. Extremely fun and kept you wanting to read more.

This series is one of the best that I have ever read. All of the books are fast-paced and full of action. I have not yet read 'Darkness Be My Friend' or 'Burning for Revenge' but I can not wait. John Marsden is a great writer!

A Killing Frost, also known as The Third Day, the Frost, is one awesome book. I have read all every book in the series plus other books of his and they are all outstanding. My favorite is Burning for Revenge. This book is one of the ones that you just get hooked on. I started reading when i saw a friend reading and i just couldn't stop. This book is one of the best that I have read though.
