Joyce McDonald has been in the field of writing all of her adult life. She was a feature writer for a daily newspaper, a publications editor for a string of banks, and an executive newsletter writer and editor. She is also the co-author of a biography, Semka – The Sammy Skobel Story, and teaches a course in memoir writing. She makes her home in Bonita Springs, Florida with her husband, Louis Luciani.
