This is a three page how to description for rooting you nook. Info freely avail on web. I am ticked at having pd for this. Don't fall for it.

Not updated to Include Nook Color software 1.2.0

If you have the updated NookColor, then this book is obsolete. Waste of money.

    Stop Complaining!

    1. If you're upset that the info's on the web already, that's pretty much the case for anything on the Nook store! 2. If it's listed as a book, not an app, it's obviously not going to be a Kindle app. And why would Barnes and Noble allow that, anyway? 3. Don't complain about things that are ultimately your own fault. Try to see things from the publisher's eyes, and understand that your little quams with this and that have no place in their source of income. Thank you.

I wish there was a Kindle App for the Nook!

There should be a Kindle app for the Nook so buyers can all their books on one device. This would not be an issue if B&N would get all the ebooks available on Amazon.

    Misleading / Save your money

You can read kindle books by rooting your nook or replacingw the o/s with the standard android system. Both will enable you to access the google market and/or allow manual apk installation. From there it is trivial to get kindle or any number of other applications not regularly available. Good luck!
