King Animal

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide
American grunge outfit Soundgarden return with their sixth album King Animal after breaking their 12 year hiatus. Work started on the album in 2011 alongside producer Adam Kasper (Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age) and stylistically picked up where 1996 release Down on the Upside left off. Mixing up-tempo beats with heavy guitar riffs has become a staple of their sound, illustrated here on bruising single "Been Away Too Long."
