Overview

The history of King David is paramount to understanding Messiah Yeshua (Jesus). His return is echoed in the stories of David. To understand where we stand in the history of the world, we need to understand the stories of David and how they may apply to us in these 'Last days' better referred to as the 'New Beginning' we are about to transition into. Prophecy is not fortelling the future, but interpreting the past. As King Solomon once said, "there is nothing new under the sun, that which has been will be". With this we look to the stories found in scripture to understand what might happen. Since David is symbolic of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus), then we should look to David to tell us what to expect. The days are approaching fast as to when the Messiah will return: are we ready? This is a study of David's life, illustrating ethics that are very important to us all which we should learn to apply to our lives. Though this is a study, it is much more. Through allusions we look back at Davids life, his character, and his mistakes in order to learn.
