Ellis is out on a limb, here, with his assertion that Jesus was King Arthur. However, I have to say that he has discovered a great deal of supporting evidence that I knew nothing of. The thesis is not proven, by any means, but he is a long way down that route and it is entirely possible that a solution will eventually be found. Some fascinating side-topics too. The suggestion that St Paul was Josephus is interesting too, and I think Ellis has proven his case there. But this is ground-breaking, because this identification changes the whole nature of Christianity, as he points out. Interesting read, to say the least. Was this review helpful?
