    Childrens Book

The title is a bit misleading,as the contents of the book gives more space to Ludwigs background than to the castle itself. The language is more suited to children ages 5 thru 10 than what adults would expect. There are some nice basic photos within its 32 pages, but nothing in the book is aimed at serious reading.Certainly this book would not be suitable as a souvenir of a visit to the castle. When i visited it i got more information from the guided tour than the book.

    A reviewer

He almost bankrupted Bavaria building it. I have been to see it 6 or 7 times and still see and learn new things each time I visit. There are stars cut out in the ceiling of his bedroom so he could watch the stars at night from his bed.... Walt Disney copied this castle and used it for Disney.
