This is another unnerving read from Lewis & Lockley - dark, fairly scary, but ultimately a tale of forgiveness and redemption. Our heroine has to put her grief behind her, and accept the path of destiny. The grim character she meets on the way needs to do the same for himself - and both of them have to keep far enough ahead of the walking dead while they work this out. In between - dreams and reality take random inversions, the grisly near-present chases them down, and the pages race by. Chilling stuff.
