Manuel Ramos is the author of The Ballad of Gato Guerrero, The Ballad of Rocky Ruiz, Blues for the Buffalo, Brown-on-Brown, The Last Client of Luis Móntez, and Moony's Road to Hell. He won the Chicano/Latino Literary Award, was nominated for an Edgar award and was named one of the top 100 creative artists in Colorado. He lives in Denver, Colorado.
