The plot thickens as eddings does an excellent job in keeping us interested in the characters he introduced previously. a fantastic read for when you have a lot of extra time on your hands.

This book was absolutely horrible. The plot was hackneyed, the characters were flat and without souls, and every page of it made me dread having to read the next. I actually read all of it just to see if a book could be that terrible all the way through. Any self respecting human being should not force themselves to read this book like I so unfortunately did. Terrible.

I think that this was definetly one of the best books out by David and Leigh Eddings, and my favorite in the 'Malloreon' series. I think that there are a few plot twists that no one could see coming... at first glance I didn't know how the title related to a storyline, but it definetly does.

This book is a great continuation of Eddings series. It has a great plot. The characters and events are very well written and leave you on the edge of your seat all the way to the end. This a woderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.
