I like Miami more with each book. This one has a bit of an Agatha Christie feel to it with all the characters forced to close quarters as a hurricane sweeps toward them. Very clever.

Great story! Leave it to Miami Jones to be stuck in the middle of a hurricane and have a murder occur, or maybe two. And he's stuck with Ronzonni too. I enjoyed the story and got a few chuckles out of things Miami did or said. I could just picture it. I enjoy Stewart's characters. I've read them all and already looking forward to the next one.

This is the latest in the Miami Jones series. I have devoured all of the books and enjoy them very much. Mr. Stewart's stories and characters aren't as weird as some other Florida mystery writers, but I think this makes them better. This time around Miami goes all Agatha Christie and attempts to solve a pair of murders while isolated by a hurricane and surrounded by a diverse set of folks. All the books are well done and the author makes you care about the characters and outcomes. I just wish he could crank them out faster!
