Overview

The second Kingdom Collection, Books 4 and 5, also includes bonus Kingdom companion Novelette (Danika's Surprise) along with a special sneak peek to Book 6, The Huntsman's Prey. Which will be the start of the Dark Princesses Saga.

Jinni's Wish, Book 4:

A long, long time ago there lived a man. A Jinni, who had one wish. To know love. But the woman he thought he knew betrayed him and the love he thought they shared. Tortured for his crimes, he was cast out of Kingdom, stripped of all his powers, left to langour in pain and solitude, until eventually he becomes nothing but a ghost...

Paz Lopez is an artist with a dream. To buy a ridiculously large penthouse in the swankiest section of Chicago. But there's just one hitch, she has no man to share her dream with. A fateful visit to a carnival and Madam Pandora's tent sends Paz on a mission to find the love of her life before it's too late.

But the Madam forgot to tell Paz one very important detail... to meet him, Paz will have to die first.

Hook's Pan, Book 5:

Trishelle Page has known pain in her life, but instead of it making her weak, she's stronger. Confident. That is until the day a fairy kidnaps her during her starring role in Peter Pan's play and tells her not only do fairy tales exist, but that she's the soulmate of the pirate they call Hook, making her question everything she ever thought she knew.

Captain James Hook is a man at the end of his rope. He's not the villainous bastard tales have made him out to be. So when the feisty blonde drops literally at his feet, he aims to prove it to her. If only to get her into his bed.

What neither one knows is that fate and magic are conspiring and they can deny the attraction all they want but their happily ever after is already written, it's just a matter of getting there.

Meet the Author

Marie Hall has always had a dangerous fascination for creatures that go bump in the night. And mermaids. And of course fairies. Trolls. Unicorns. Shapeshifters. Vampires. Scottish brogues. Kilts. Beefy arms. Ummm... Bad boys! Especially the sexy ones.

On top of that she's a confirmed foodie, she nearly went to culinary school and then figured out she could save a ton of money if she just watched food shows religiously! She's a self-proclaimed master chef, certified deep sea dolphin trainer, finder of leprechaun's gold at the end of the rainbow, and rumor has it she keeps the Troll King locked away in her basement. All of which is untrue, however, she does have an incredibly active imagination and loves to share her crazy thoughts with the world!

Fun, Adventures, Exciting and Enjoyable to read.

Kingdom Series Collection Part 2 we get Jinni's Wish, Hook's Pan, Danika's Surprise #5.5 and The Huntsman's Prey #5.6.

I enjoy Marie Hall's writing. It is amazing how someone can come up with those wonderful twisted stories that are full of charm, humor, sensuality and sweetness. The Bad Five are not as bad as they are made out to be in the original fairy tales. They are just misunderstood and need the love and understanding from their true mate. Each of the characters is flawed with real issues that many will relate to. Their paths are never simple or straight forward, but there is someone for everyone, at least if Danika (their fairy godmother) has her say.

    ~ Jinni's Wish
Paz is an aspiring artist who is looking for true love, her Todd. Her brother and his significant other Todd drag her to a carnival where a fortune teller tells her to go to Alaska before it's too late….

We have seen Jinni in the other stories of this series, but here we get to really know him and his past. He is wasting away more each day and is barely a ghost when he finally meets his mate, but he believes it is too late…

Jinni's Wish pulls you in and doesn't let go. I enjoyed the sweet love story between Jinni and Paz and we end up traveling the cosmos with them as Jinni uses the last of his life force to show his love for her.

    ~ Hook's Pan
Caption James Hook is a pirate, drinks to much, and has his own code. He has already loved and lost and he only wants revenge against his nemesis Peter Pan. Will he be able to see Trisha as she is and open up his heart again?

Trishelle has a sad past and does not believe in love. She has two faces: the one that she shows the world and the more guarded, sad and distrustful of men side. Danika is convinced that Trisha's soul is an old one forever tied to Hook's.

This story has some great snappy dialogue. As Trisha and Hook get to know one another in conversation and some erotic encounters, they eventually learn to love and recognize their true bond.

~ Danika's Surprise #5.5 is about Alice and Hatter's daughter being born. Their daughter ends up being Moon Touched which is a curse. It was a nice quick read and set up for another book. What will happen to Alice and Hatter's daughter?

~ The Huntsman's Prey #5.6 is a snippet of a conversation Danika has with the Cheesier Cat and how to save Alice and Hatter's daughter.

This series is fun, adventures, exciting and enjoyable to read. It is made for the adult audience. I also enjoyed cameos of earlier characters. I will never look at the old fairy tails the same way again.

    I love this series!

This book is a sinfully delicious heart poundingly sexy bundle of dark fairytales. Like Danika always says " Bad boys need love too! " In this book the last two sexy hunks of the bad five finally meet the women destined for them. For Jinni a beautiful artist desperate to find her very own " Todd " and for Hook a sexy sharp tongued love hating vixen with a secret that even she doesn't yet know. Will Hook be able to put his past aside to try and tame a vixen that just might be too much for even him? Will Jinni be able to let go of the past and forgive before it is too late and he loses his only salvation? Well if you want to know get the book and you won't be disappointed. This book is fille with wonder, amazinly descriptive worlds, and skillfully written characters that will have you believing in bad boys before it is finished. A must read series for any book lover!

    Very good...

I enjoyed Jinni's and Hook's stories. That Peter Pan was a beastly little thing eh? I still think Ms. Hall does a great job with these fairy tale stories and characters, I like how she doesn't stick to the norm and makes them so different yet entertaining and sexy as hell to read. Jinni's story was so sad but beautiful, him and Paz complimented each other so well. I loved how he took her dancing on the stars, that was so sweet!

Hook's story was enjoyable as well, though a bit frustrating with Trish being so stubborn about her situation. Even when she knew she didn't want to leave she was still planning on leaving, it just annoys me when women make an easy situation so complicated.

There were a few grammatical errors, not enough to make this a DNF but enough to distract me a bit and I was super confused with the name of Gerard/Betty and Hatter/Alice daughters! In Hook's epilogue, Trish mentions Betty gave birth to a little girl named Chrysalis Caron, then in Danika's Surprise, Dani named Alice's daughter Chrysalis but refers to Betty's daughter as Shayera, see how confusing that is?

Overall, two very good reads, including Danika's Surprise that leads to another set of books in the Kingdom series but is part of the new Dark Princess Saga!
