    ~extremely good first effort~

Kings of the Dead by first time author, Tony Faville is a must read for zombie fans. It is written in journal format, which some may find "difficult" to read, but I personally find the journal format to be a refreshing change to the normal writing structure of most novels.

Tony, also, steps away from the norm of what is usually seen in a zombie novel, in that his focus is on the Human Factor and how living and trying to survive in a world full of zombies can make people do and think things they never thought possible. Because of this change in focus, I feel that Kings of the Dead can also be read by anyone interested in stories written about people and how adversity can change how they think.

Yes, I am married to the author & have a personal attachment to him and his work. I am also an avid reader and have a BS in Education and a minor in English Literature and Grammar. I take my storytelling seriously and I feel that this book is well written, an enjoyable change of pace for your typical zombie novel and definitely worth your time.

Side By Side with Day by Day Armageddon!!!!

The first diary format zombie book i picked up was Day by Day Armageddon and it was great. I decided to take a chance on this book and I was not sorry for buying it. Yea im use to the gruesome books like city of the dead and the rising but Tony Faville and J. L. Bourne put a whole new twist on the zombie book its not all blood and gore like what Im use to but it does put you in the lead character which happens to be the author himself's shoes I really hope Tony comes out with another book and delves deeper into the world of the Raiders because when he got to the twist were truman comes back and tell Tony that the friends that were kidnapped were eaten by him and his cult i wanted to do exactly what Tony did to Truman!! The ending was a little sad but well worth the ride. I hope if you are reading this review you will buy it because it is well worth the money and to Tony please write another zombie book! Mr. Faville you just became one of my favorit authors
