It is true but very poorly written

Well, I know much of this story because I was there for some of it. I read the book to fill in some of the gaps in my knowledge. Unfotunately, it is poorly written. In the beginning of one chapter it is clear that he is trying to give the reader a picture of where Ringgold is, and it seems to me that he cut and paste information from at least three sources that describe the town and area. It is repetitive and distracting because of this. It also appears that much of the book is lifted directly from court transcripts with very little additional insight. I doubt he interviewed anyone for this book. I was very disappointed and unless someone just wants to get some additional information, I am not recommending this title.

    Kiss and Kill

These preachers-gone-bad stories never cease to amaze me. They all seem to have this God complex, whereby they start simple, working for the church for the love of what they are doing, then it turns into a money-hungry, power-groping, sexual escapde. Rick Pulley nearly got away with murder. Had it not been for the fact that a bride was being redone, his wife's decayed body would have never been found. Once again, a story of American justice and the murderer getting his just reward. This is a well-written book about a troubled minister turned killer.

    Kiss and Kill

This is a remarkable story of minister Rick Pulley whose wife myseriously disappeared one day. It was difficult for the church members to believe this man of God could have killed his wife, until they found out he had an adulterous relationship, he had stolen money from the church, and lied to his wife's family and friends. Excellent writing, a page turner, and a gripping story. What more could you ask for in a true crime book?

    I was disappointed

This is a poorly written book and not worth the money. It should be under fiction not true crime.
