this was a Christmas gift for someone considering changing careers - he was THRILLED, he'd been checking this book out from the library and re-newing it (something I was unaware of, just happened to get lucky in my choice of a gift!), so he is ecstatic to own it himself - listening to him and, admittedly, skimming the book before i wrapped it, I'm inclined to say that this is a book that will help the rank amateur do something for themselves and others that makes them feel good and is also a tool to help someone thinking about massage as a career option look at the styles and types out there and perhaps make a decision to go forward.
