New Year's Eve is the time to make a naughty resolution, so shed your inhibitions and indulge in this sultry collection of escapades from four of the hottest writers around.

In Brenda L. Thomas's "Every New Year," a shoot-out lands a respected doctor in the hospital with a bad case of amnesia, and in the care of a man too sexy to resist.

In "Whatever It Takes" by Tu-Shonda L. Whitaker, a sassy older woman tries to break off her steamy relationship with her best friend's twenty-three-year-old son, but he shows her he's man enough to fulfill her needs.

Crystal Lacey Winslow proves you can be "Dangerously in Love" when a prim and proper young woman's wild side takes over after the man she's dating slips up with another woman.

In "My Boo" by Daaimah S. Poole, a Philly girl's long-distance boyfriend never has time for her — not even around the holidays. So when her ex-roommate's latest lover comes knocking, she's ready to get the party started.

This book was so good. I couldn't put it down. It is worth every penny, every character was interesting to read about. I only thought that 'Dangerously in Love' should have been last because the next story I couldn't start to read until I got this story from out my mind. Crystal C. Winslow needs to do a sequel for this book. This story was worth alot more pages because it had a little mystery and suspense in this story that can be taken to another level. I can't believe that London couldn't figure out this girl was crazy. I knew she had a multiplepersonality when Jovie/Jada came home one day from work to clean the apartment finding toys and things scattered everywhere and she said Jada was coming home, but didn't come. Also, when her doctor call that gave you a clue into her personality. Well, I can give London some points for trying to be a good man. He wanted to stay faith to her. He did show that he can be a good man. Sometimes during reading this book like London had something wrong with him. He gave you so many emotions that you was really trying to figure out. In 'My Boo' I am glad that Gina got her act together. She could have lost a good thing.

Four great writers...four great stories..Leading the pack, was TuShonda Whitaker's story, Whatever It Takes, what a great story...older woman, younger man...can they find love...what happens when the mother of the man...finds out that her best friend is dating her 20ish son...will she approve, with all hell break loose...read it to find out what this author has in store for us...she never lets us down Brenda Thomas, does the thing, again, a penis doctor, oh my, but what happens when this doctor has amnesia? Does she desire what was left between or is she enjoying life not remember what her old life held for her...what about that new found man in her life...Dangerously in Love, shows just how dangerous love can be...this story has a lot of twists and turns...the ending will be the ultimate surprise...My Boo, sometimes we think that the old boo is just that old and we want something new and more exciting...well read this story to see if the grass is greener on the other side, or if we have to mow that also....Four great stories by four great authors...

'Whatever It Takes' by Tu-Shonda L. Whitaker. Twenty-three years old Devlin outrageously flirts with his mother¿s best friend thirty-six year old India. Though he ¿heats¿ up her coochie she assumes he is too young. Devlin begins to break down her barriers as he wants the older woman and believes she desires him too, but she thinks she robs the cradle as he is her friend¿s child D.J. --- 'Every New Year' by Brenda L. Thomas. Dr. Cynthia and her state trooper boyfriend Terrell look forward to a vacation .but she misses the flight. Rushing to catch a later one, her taxi is caught in the middle of a street shoot-out before crashing through a store window. Cyn lands in the hospital suffering from amnesia and becomes attracted to her Dr. Strohmile. --- 'I Play for Keeps' by Crystal Lacey Winslow. Unlike her outgoing twin sister Jada, Jovie is a prim person until she meets London. However, when he begins seeing another woman, a distraught Jovie decides to be exactly like her sibling and get her man. --- 'My Boo' by Daaimah S. Poole. Gina misses her boyfriend Chris who works three states away. Her roommate Bianca meets Khalil and has quite a sexual encounter. Not long afterward Gina, who owns their home, throws Bianca out after the latter dissed her. Khalil visits and tells Gina he wants her will she choose the exciting ¿threat¿ or the safe ¿distance¿? --- These are four well written heated relationship dramas that readers will enjoy though beware that there is plenty of graphic sex scenes and profanity ¿ what would you expect with ¿possessed penis¿ as a star. --- Harriet Klausner
